The spanking new
Tottenville Review has a beautifully designed and easy to navigate web site and an impressive list of contributors. They also have one of the most succinct and most admirable mission statements we've seen in some time: "
Tottenville Review is a new review of books focused on debuts, translations, and all works that would otherwise go undetected. It is a collaborative of authors, translators, and reviewers bound by one purpose: to contribute to the dialogue of literature."
Issue #1 just went live and includes a
smart review of Alina Bronsky's
Broken Glass Park (I suppose being both a debut and a translation it was a shoe-in).
Congrats, thanks, and long life to Tottenville!
