Brought to brilliant life way back in 2005 by Karl Pohrt (
Shaman Drum), Chad Post (
Open Letter/3%), and Jeff Seroy (
FSG) this ingenious initiative, sublime in its simplicity and notable for its effectiveness, is a collaborative effort between publishers and
bookstores to bring international literature to the attention of readers.
This year Europa Editions joins the fifteen other press* that together with participating bookstores will promote international literature as part of a major initiative during the month of June.
