The French-American Foundation announces that

Howard Curtis, has been selected among the top ten finalists of the 21st Annual Translation Prizes awarded by the French American Foundation and the Florence Gould Foundation.
The Translation Prizes recognize excellence in translation of French prose into English for works of fiction and non-fiction. The Prizes seek to draw public attention to the very best new translations of the current year and to promote French literature. In twenty years, the Translation Prize has established itself as a valuable element of the intellectual and cultural exchange between both countries.
The winner will be announced on May28th, 2008.
