We are extremely pleased to announce that The House on Via Gemito by Domenico Starnone, translated from the Italian by Oonagh Stransky, has been longlisted for the 2024 International Booker Prize!
The International Booker Prize is awarded annually for a single book, translated into English and published in the UK or Ireland. The £50,000 prize money is divided equally between the author and translator. This year’s prize is judged by Eleanor Wachtel, Natalie Diaz, Romesh Gunesekera, William Kentridge, and Aaron Robertson.

The shortlist will be announced on April 9. The winning title will be announced at a ceremony on May 21.
