Andrew Miller's PURE Makes IMPAC Dublin Shortlist

Andrew Miller's PURE has been selected as one of ten titles on the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award shortlist! Books are nominated by libraries from major cities around the globe, which makes IMPAC Dublin a unique judge of international fiction of the highest literary merit.

Set on the eve of the French Revolution, PURE tells the story of Jean-Baptiste Baratte, a young engineer who takes on the daunting task of emptying the putrid Les Innocents cemetery. Publishers Weekly counts PURE among the Best Fiction of 2012, saying that "Miller recreates pre-Revolutionary Paris with astonishing verisimilitude."
