More Mohr than ever before

Tim Mohr, author and translator extraordinaire, has had quite a year. His translation of Alina Bronsky's THE HOTTEST DISHES OF THE TARTAR CUISINE was named a Publishers Weekly Book of the Year, and won loads of other accolades. In a pleasing coincidence, the LA Public Library chose both HOTTEST DISHES and IT'S SO EASY: and other lies, Mohr's collaboration with former G&R bassist Duff McKagan, as two of its Best Books of 2011. Mohr translated and wrote the introduction to a stunning art house project, Here is Berlin, his reviews this year have appeared in the New York Times, among other venues, and his new collaborative project, The Last Holiday, a memoir by Gil Scott-Heron, is hot off the presses and will be in stores early 2012. Last but not least, earlier this year Tim struck a deal for the publication of his own book about the punk rock scene in East Berlin.
