“This apparently has been a huge hit in Sweden, which is not something I’ve said since The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. So this book, this is translated by Alice Olsen. I was really swept away by this...Very quickly, the novel spins into the backstory of these people, how they came together, what their missions are. And it‘s actually very elegantly told. It is a fairly large cast, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Everybody is well developed... I really enjoyed it, it actually felt like real escapism... It reminded me of Lost in the sense that this is a group of people stranded in one location, sort of rebuilding a new society together... For when you’re sick of thinking about all the technology that is barreling towards us.”
